About FrivilligJob.dk

FrivilligJob.dk is a database for volunteer job opportunities in Denmark. Our two main goals are:

1.  Make it easy for the Danish population to search and find volunteer job opportunities online.
2.  Make it easy for voluntary organizations to recruit online.

We make it easy to volunteer
FrivilligJob.dk is the biggest database for job opportunities in Denmark within the volunteering community. Here you will find job opportunities from both local and national organizations (incl. the local branches of national organizations) for example social organizations, sports organizations, children and youth organizations, culture organizations and organizations working with environmental problems.

We make it easy to recruit volunteers online
We gather knowledge and develop tools on an ongoing basis and this makes online recruiting easier for your organization.  Our goal is to make sure that all voluntary organizations have free access to advertise on Frivilligjob.dk and to use our knowledge and tools free of charge.

Frivilligjob.dk is a part of FriSe
It is the organization for the Danish volunteer centers and self-help groups that runs FrivilligJob.dk (Frivilligcentre og Selvhjælp Danmark, in short FriSe). FriSe is the national organization for Denmark’s volunteer centers and self-help groups. Read more about FriSe here.

Online since 2005
The initiative to develop a Danish online recruiting site for the voluntary community was made by a contact-group for voluntary social work in Denmark, called Kontaktudvalget (now named Frivilligrådet). In spring 2004 they made a pre-examination about the possibility of developing an online Danish database for volunteer job opportunities. The project was then handed over to FriSe who launched FrivilligJob.dk in March 2005 with support from the ministry of social welfare. Access to Frivilligjob.dk was only given to social voluntary organizations but since the start of 2010 the site expanded and is now open for all Danish voluntary organizations.
